An Autommated External Defibrillator is a portable electronic device that automatically diagnoses the life threatening cardiac arrhythmias of Ventricular Fibrillation and Pulseless Ventricular Tachycardia and is able to treat them through defibrillation, the application of electricity which stops the arrhythmia, allowing the heart to re-establish an effective rhythm. AED's are simple and easy to use for the layperson, first responders, BLS (Basic Life Support) providers, police, fire, and EMS providers. You can be trained in CPR to know exactly how to use an AED. We sell several brands of AED's which include the following: Zoll, Defibtech, Physio Control, and HeartSine. AED prices start at around $1400 and can go as much as $3000 depending on which model and brand you choose.
